Lismore Farmers Market
Start your Saturday at the Lismore Farmers’ Market, held most Saturday mornings at Lismore Showground from 7:30 - 11:30 am.
Check the Calendar of Events before visiting, as the market does not operate during some major Showground events.
The Lismore Farmers Market features around 40 stalls offering fresh local produce, artisan foods, handmade goods and specialty products from local and regional growers and creators.
Visitors can enjoy local live music from 8 - 11 am, fresh coffee and breakfast options and the welcoming atmosphere of one of Lismore’s favourite weekly community markets.
With off-street parking, it’s an easy and enjoyable Saturday morning outing. And well socialised fur-kids on leads are welcome!
Please note that the market does not operate when major Showground-wide events are being held, including:
- Primex: May 21-23
- Lismore Outdoor Adventure, Home & Lifestyle Expo: Aug 14-16
- Annual Lismore Show: Oct 15-17
- Tropical Fruits New Year’s Festival: Dec 26 to Jan 3

When is the Lismore Farmers' Market held?
The Market is held at the Showground on Saturday mornings, 7.30-11.30am. However, occasionally the market cannot operate when a large event occupies the entire Showground; e.g., Tropical Fruits New Year’s Eve Festival, Primex (May), the Lismore Outdoor Adventure, Home & Lifestyle Expo (Aug), and the annual Lismore Show (Oct). Please check the ‘What’s On’ calendar on this website, or the Lismore Farmers Market Facebook page, for any changes due to major events.
Where do I park for the Farmers Market?
In the Showground, via the main gate in Alexandra Parade. Some undercover parking is available. The exception is when Gemfest is on (2nd weekend in May); when it’s easiest to catch a Shuttle Bus from the Lismore CBD, or drive into the Showgrounds via the Dunoon Road entrance.
Is accessible parking available?
Yes, just inside the main gate in Alexandra Parade, and adjacent to the toilets behind the market area.

Are dogs allowed at the Farmers Market?
Well-socialised dogs on leads are welcome at the Lismore Farmers Market. Please keep dogs under control on a short lead and clean up after them (poo bags are available at the Market Co-ordinator’s stall). Please keep an eye on male dogs whilst shopping or chatting to ensure that they don’t cock their leg on a stall or, worse, a customer’s bag - it happens! Some other events at the Showground may not allow pets, so always check event details before bringing your dog.
